The Kings University Eagles hosted the St. Mary's University Lightning on Friday, Feb. 10.
The Lightning got off to a hot start in the first quarter and took an early lead. St. Marys led the Eagles 30-17 at the end of the quarter.
St. Marys continued their dominant play in the second quarter. The score going into halftime was 56-46 for the Lightning.
In the third quarter, both teams continued to play hard as St Marys managed to maintain their lead. The score at the end of the quarter was 76-68 for the Lightning.
In the fourth quarter, St Marys greatly extended their lead and won the game 106-82.
