Men's Basketball TKU Eagles v. BC Clippers
On November 9, the King's University Eagles Men's basketball team took on the Briercrest College Clippers at 3:00 p.m. in the King's University gymnasium.
In the first quarter, Clippers played a hard game by using great defensive skills and 8 Jude Shepard-Hills with amazing drives, 1 Francis Dogani with wicked ball-handling skills, 21 Zachary Martens making awesome shots, and 13 Oroma Bongomin making many spectacular three-pointers. Eagles 10 Logan Den Oudsten played a great quarter making many notable passes, layups, and shots, 1 Brock Stupar played awesome defense gaining the ball for a steal of a layup, and 9 Jonathan Barwegen made many terrific layups.
In the second quarter, again the Clippers played great defense and made many great blocks. Clippers 21 Zachary Martens made amazing shots, 3 Riley Seaborn made many noteworthy hook shots, and 4 Kaedyn Banilevic made amazing three-pointers. Eagles 9 Jonathan Barwegen had a fantastic quarter in which he made many superb layups, 7 Benjamin Thess made an awesome three-pointer, along with 10 Logan Den Oudsten.
The third quarter was tight and heated with both teams playing a tight quarter with great back-to-back action having the crowd sitting at the end of their seats. Clippers 5 Corbin Gengerbach played amazing defense and made many great shots, 3 Jude Shepard-Hills made an amazing three-pointer, along with 14 Owen Shepard-Hills. The Eagles fought back with fire on defense making many marvelous blocks and steals. Eagles 9 Jonathan Barwegen made many astounding shots and layups, 17 Evan Castle made an impressive three-pointer and great rebound shots, and 10 Logan Den Oudsten once again played fantastic offense and made many remarkable shots.
The fourth and final quarter, both teams strived hard for the win with aggressive and skilled plays on defense and offense. Clippers 5 Corbin Gengenbach played a fantastic quarter with great defensive steals, shots, and three-pointers, 13 Oroma Bongomin had amazing ball-handling skills and made many great shots and three-pointers, and 4 Kaedyn Banilevic made a noteworthy three-pointer. Eagles 10 Logan Den Oudsten once again had an amazing quarter making many great drives, layups, passes, and three-pointers, 9 Jonathan Barwegan made many tremendous shots and passes, and 1 Brock Stupar made a phenomenal three-pointer.
With high liveliness in the gym's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
