Men's Basketball TKU Eagles v. NAIT Ooks

On January 18, the King's University Eagles Men's basketball team took on NAIT Polytechnic Ooks at 8:00 p.m. in the King's University gymnasium. 

 

In the first quarter, it started with the Ooks establishing dominance with strong defense. Peter Kugba-Nyande was instrumental, scoring two layups, while Kohl Wedman added a shot and Peter Deng contributed a shot of his own. Gabriel Humilde was also impressed by the great drive to the basket. For the Eagles, Brock Stupar got things started with a drive and shot, while Logan Den Oudsten added a shot. David Loki also contributed with a well-executed shot.

 

In the second quarter, Keshon McLeod made a key shot, while Peter Kugba-Nyande added another basket. Peter Deng also contributed with a tip-in point. The Eagles showed flashes of offense, with Jonathan Barwegan making two shots, two layups, and a drive to the basket. Jagger Crossland nailed a three-pointer, while Lucas Franks added a shot, block, and a three-pointer. Joshua Povhe played solid defense, and Evan Castle made a strong drive and shot to keep the Eagles in the game.

 

In the third quarter, the audience saw a back-and-forth battle as both teams played solid defense. The Ooks continued their strong offensive play with Peter Deng scoring two shots, Peter Kugba-Nyande adding a shot and a dunk, and Serhat Chen contributing with a drive and layup. Antonio Benjamin added two shots to help the Ooks keep their lead. On the Eagles' side, Jagger Crossland made a shot and a drive to the basket, while Logan Den Oudsten hit two shots, including a three-pointer.

 

In the fourth quarter, the Ook's defense was superior, with Omar Farah impressing with a drive, dunk, and three three-pointers. Serhat Chen added another drive and layup, while Kohl Wedman contributed with three shots. For the Eagles, Brock Stupar hit a shot, Joshua Povhe added a shot, and Jonathan Barwegan chipped in with a basket, but it wasn't enough to close the gap. 

 

With high liveliness in the gym's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
