NAIT started off strong going 7-0 before the Lethbridge Kodiaks came back, leading to a close first quarter where the energy was ecstatic. With #11 Kohl Wedman on the NAIT Ooks putting up 9 points, and #14 Jackson Wright on Lethbridge finding the net multiple times. Wright also had a strong start with multiple rebounds and overall strong defence. The first quarter came to a close at 21-20 for the NAIT Ooks who managed to make some strong plays early on that contributed to the lead.

The second quarter started off at a slower pace than the first. Defense was the focus on everyone's mind. Lethbridge started to pull ahead as they doubled down on their shooting. #23 Randall Mongard on Kodiaks made a significant difference contributing to their strong lead. #11 on NAIT Kohl Wedman found consistency in his 3 pointers, leading in points at half. At half the Lethbridge Kodiaks took a significant lead over the NAIT Ooks at 40-29 points.

NAIT started off strong in the third having the momentum after Kodiaks fouls started to skyrocket. NAIT also started to find cracks in Kodiak's defense with #11 putting on a show. But towards the end Kodiaks offense started to ignite with their quick passes, bringing them point after point. Though in the end it was NAIT with the last shot of the quarter by #9 hitting a buzzer beater to end the quarter 53-45 Lethbridge.

Needing a comeback NAIT battled in the fourth quarter, making it 54-51 after only 1 and a half minutes of play. In the end, the Lethbridge Kodiaks took it away, winning rebound after rebounding and capitalizing on almost every drive. Though NAIT put up a strong fight, they could not quite get past Lethbridge's energetic defense being short 75-51.

The players of the game were #2 Owen Weaver for the NAIT Ooks and #14 Jackson Wright for Lethbridge.
