The Augustana vikings face off against Red Deer College kings for tonights home opener. The Vikings started off strong when #25 Owen Lamb, scoring the first gal in the 1st period. After the first intermission the Kings had a pep talk and came back strong scoring a goal in the second from #17 Scott Ferguson. With the score being tied both teams came into the third with all they had to give. #14 Austin Hunter, and #91 Matthew Lapointe, scored two goals almost back to back securing their win of 3-1. The home team game star was #25 Owen Lamb, and #14 Austin Hunter.
