Vikings vs Trojans at Falun

This game was an interesting one, maybe even the most interesting game of the season. That's because it was one of the first games of its kind, an outdoor ACAC hockey game. 

The Vikings and Trojans played on neutral ice at the Falun outdoor hockey rink and it made for a great game to watch. 

The period of play saw the Vikings score within the first five minutes. This first goal scored by #14, Ryan Groom, assisted by #28, Lukas Biensch, and #22, Travis Mayan. Before the period was out, the Vikings scored again, This time by #77, Quintin Sudom, once again assisted by #28, Lukas Biensch, and #22, Travis Mayan.

The second period saw no goals made.

The third and final period of play saw three goals. First was by the Vikings #22, Travis Mayan, assisted by #14, Ryan Groom. The second goal was also by the Vikings, an empty net shot with less than two minutes left in play. Scored by #9, Tavis Roch, assisted by #16, Captain, Evan Warmington. 

Last goal of the game, with less than a minute on the clock, the Trojans scored. This goal was made on the power play by #11, Jackson McKinstry, assisted by #14, Dylan Williamson.

Player of the for the visiting Trojans was awarded to, the goalie, #31, Kyle Dumba. For the hometown Augustana Vikings, was #31, goalie, Curtis Skip.
