Tim Fragle Named 2019-20 ACAC Men’s Hockey Coach of the Year
EDMONTON, AB (March 20, 2020)– The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce Tim Fragle of the NAIT Ooks has been named the ACAC Men's Hockey Coach of the Year.
In his fourth season as the head coach of the NAIT Ooks, Tim led his team to a 24-4 record, resulting in a fourth consecutive first-place finish in the regular-season standings. He has a career record of 95-21-9-2 in 127 games in the ACAC. Fragle earns ACAC Coach of the Year for the third time in four seasons.
"NAIT Athletics is very pleased for Tim to receive this award. It is a true testament to how hard he works and the passion that he displays for his program and the sport of hockey each and every day," said Jordan Richey, NAIT athletics manager.
"Tim treats his student-athletes and his colleagues with the utmost respect, which, in my opinion, is an important factor in his success. We are honoured to have Tim lead our men's hockey program into the future."
The award was not presented due to COVID-19 canceling the remainder of the ACAC playoffs.
