The Lakeland Rustlers entered the final game of the round robin knowing they not only needed to beat SAIT, but had to do it by at least four goals. A second-half eruption gave them the margin they needed in an 8-3 win that clinched them second place in Pool A with a 1-1-1 record, edging King's University out of a playoff spot on a goal differential tiebreaker. Chase Cal had a hat trick to lead the Rustlers offensive charge.
