King’s Eagles defeat the Voyageurs

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Kieran Toussaint's 2 goals, the King's University Eagles defeated the hometown Portage College Voyageurs 5-1 at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Friday night. Jules Leggo, Nathan Steenhof and Dorian Jacobs also scored for the King's Eagles while Tata Mugisha responded for the Portage Voyageurs. The result brings the King's Eagles record to 1-0 while the Voyageurs fall to 0-1. The top three teams from the weekend's action will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 10-12 in Fort McMurray.
