Lakeland Rustlers come out strong against Voyageurs

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Nick Durand's three goals, the Lakeland College Rustlers triumphed over the Portage College Voyageurs 7-2 at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Saturday morning. Gio Ciccacci had two goals while Tristan Kayiranga and Sam Dosumu also scored for the Lakeland Rustlers while Tata Mugisha and Keagan Gauthier-Schuab responded for the Portage Voyageurs. The result brings the Lakeland Rustlers record to 1-1 while the Portage Voyageurs fall to 0-2. The top three teams from the weekend's action will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 10-12 in Fort McMurray.

Player of the Game for the Lakeland Rustlers was Tristan Kayiranga and Player of the Game for the Portage Voyageurs was Keagan Gauthier-Schuab.
