NWP Wolves win a high scoring affair over the Voyageurs

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Michael Authenac and Nicholas Sheasgreen's two goals each, the Northwest Polytechnic Wolves outlasted the Portage College Voyageurs 8-4 at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Sunday morning. Jared Perry, Evan Doerksen, Zakary Thomas and Dylan Stewart also scored for the NWP Wolves while Keegan Gauthier-Schaub, Tata Mugisha, Akil Johnson and Corwin Schieck responded for the Portage Voyageurs. The result brings the NWP Wolves record to 1-3 while the Portage Voyageurs fall to 0-4. The top three teams from the weekend's action will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 10-12 in Fort McMurray.

Player of the Game for the NWP Wolves is Nicholas Sheasgreen and Player of the Game for the Portage Voyageurs is Keagan Gauthier-Schaub.
