Lions Loose at Home, Family day

The Ambrose Lions took on the SAIT Trojans this fine family day afternoon. The lions den was packed with people to watch futsal and to celebrate seniors night! The Lion's originally had seniors night in the soccer season but unfortunately, got snowed out.

The first half was a 5-1 finish for SAIT with and early hat trick from #21 Senay Haile who dominated the game with 7 goals. #2 Jacob Hunter contributed 2 goals for the Trojans along with a spirnkling of goals from some other players

The lions scored two goals, one from #7 Aristotle Cruz in the first half and one from #14 Aiden Benoit, coming off the bench.

The final score was 12-2 for SAIT.

The players of the game were #21 Senay Haile and for Ambrose, was our Seniors GK Connor Klassen and #6 Daniel Welsh.

Both teams look forward to this weekend where they travel to medicine hat for south regionals!
