Rustlers cruise to 7-4 win against Ooks

The Lakeland Rustlers cruised to a 7-4 win in Pool A action Saturday at the 2023 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Futsal Championship inside the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre in Fort McMurray, Alta. 

Samuel Dosumu notched a hat trick and Nathan Tran added a pair of goals for the Rustlers, who claimed the top spot in Pool A with the victory. 

Yassin Hassen and Giordano Ciccacci also scored for the Rustlers, who found the back of the net four times in the first half and three times in the second. 

Cristian Lima scored twice for the Ooks while Peter Jones and Rodane Cato added single strikes for the Ooks. 

Dosumu of the Rustlers and Jones of the Ooks earned Player of the Game honours.
