Grant Stevens Honoured as 2015-16 ACAC Men’s South Soccer Coach of the Year

The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference congratulates SAIT Trojans' Head Coach Grant Stevens on being named the 2015-16 South Division Coach of the Year.

It is the third Coach of the Year award for Stevens, who also earned the honour in the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons. Stevens has guided the men's team to consecutive playoff berths and appears to have his team primed for a run at the ACAC gold.

"The success from this year's squad is proof that Grant and his staff have worked extremely hard to develop and grow the men's soccer program at SAIT," said SAIT Trojans Athletics and Recreation Director, Mark Pretzlaff. "His ability to foster a team of veterans and rookies is truly is a sign of their commitment to the program and the student-athletes.

"Grant has recruited and developed a group of student-athletes who strive for high performance results and achieve the three Trojan Pillars: Athletic Excellence, Academic Success, and Community Citizenship, that we have established as an institution."
