The Medicine Hat Rattlers defeated the Lakeland Rustlers 1-0 Sunday afternoon. 

The Rustlers came out strong, controlling the ball early on. The teams were physical on both sides of the ball, looking to control the ball and score. Both teams had chances to score, but neither could, leaving the game tied at 0-0 after 45 minutes.

In the second half, the physical play continued, with members of both teams being given yellow cards. Lakeland had plenty of scoring chances, but Medicine Hat got the only goal of the game on a shot by Rafael Almeida in the 88th minute. 

Player of the Game for the Rustlers was #5, Misama Litto.  Player of the Game for the Rattlers was #14, Connor Ismond.
