Final game of the season - Thunder v. Ooks

EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder took on the first place NAIT Ooks in the last regular season game of the year. The Ooks finished their season off with a record of 9-0-1 giving them a grand total of 28 points and capping off their season on a 9 game winning streak. The Thunder finished their season with a record of 6-2-2 giving them 20 points, which was good enough for second place in the North Division.

The Ooks came out with a pretty dominating presence and kept the pressure applied throughout the entirety of the match. Ending the game in a 10-0 win, the Thunder suffered their worst loss of the season. The Thunder came out hard in the second, tallying 8 shots on net, but Ooks goalie #1 Christopher Ezoua turned them all aside.

Both teams will be preparing for playoffs, NAIT having a bye their first round and Concordia will be facing off against Red Deer College.
