GPRC hosted the Keyano Huskies from Fort McMurray for their season opener. 

Both the Wolves and the Huskies were eager to put the first goal on the scoreboard, with 19 fouls accumulated in the first half. After 45 minutes of play the score was 0-0.

The fans were treated to a bque fundraiser at half time and some fantastic tunes.

The second half was just as intense as the first with both teams battling for the first goal. Both teams battled hard with another 17 fouls recorded. However after 90 minutes of play it was a 0-0 tie.

Next up for these teams is Sunday September 8th at 2pm at Pomeroy Field.

Player of the Game for GPRC was #15 Seth Ball and for KEYANO #12 Paul Musiwarwo.
