EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder, played host to the visiting Portage Voyageurs. In this lopsided victori, the Thunder managed to score 18 and holding the Voyageurs to 1.

This was the first time the Thunder and the Voyageurs have met and it might be one the Voyageurs would want to forget. The Thunder peppered the goalie from shots from all angles, with strong offensive pressure, the Voyageurs had little to no room to get any momentum going.

The Big Kahuna Player of the Game for the visiting Voyageurs was #31 David Rodrigez Lopez and for the Thunder was #12 Samuel Kohan. Next week the Thunder and the Voyageurs will be facing off once again.
