Rattlers earn first win of the season 5-1 over Ambrose

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, the host Medicine Hat College Rattlers earned their first win of the season with a 5-1 victory over the visiting Ambrose Lions.  Goals by Ardit Zejnullahu in the 12th minute and by Aminja Abbe in the 29th minute gave the Rattlers a 2-0 lead at the half.  Pilani Siwela scored in the 51st minute to give the Rattlers a 3-0 lead, but Matt Wideman got one back for the Lions on a penalty kick in the 60th minute to make it 3-1.  Siwela, with his second of the game, and Nashon Ranger-Reece closed out the scoring.  With the win, the Rattlers move to 1-2-0 on the season, while the loss drops the Lions to 0-3-0.  The player of the game for the Lions was #27 Andrew Kobe.  The Rattlers player of the game was #12 Nashon Ranger-Reece.
