For the starting half of this playoff match we watched King's and Keyano face off, for the first 20 minutes of the half it was a well contested battle for position and possession. It was back-and-forth for another couple minutes before #15 Noah Bilodeau was able to send a pass to #13 Harjap Dhanoa who sent the ball to the top right corner of the net, making the lead 1-0 Eagles. The rest of the half consisted of the Huskies desperately trying to regain control of the game and attempting to answer the Eagle's goal. Their efforts to tie the game would eventually be for naught as the Eagles were able to draw a penalty, which was taken and scored by Eagles captain #7 Antonio Krajanjic. The final moments of the half remained in King's favor, leading 2-0.
The second half was quite different from the first, started with continued King's control for sometime before the Huskies began to press back, fighting for more control and chances at goal. This would eventually pay off for them as a cross from Huskies #10 Karl Tronche met with #4 Ayman Hassen who would send the ball into the net, cutting the Eagle's lead to 2-1. The battle between these two teams continued, with each minute passed the game became more and more intense. Things seemed to be leveling out, the Eagles decided they were not finished, #13 Harjap Dhanoa intercepted a ball and sent it to the back of the net, making the Eagle's lead 3-1. The Huskies tried their best to hold on but with the clock running down there was not enough time for them to make their comeback. It was enough time for the Eagles to score one more, hattrick from #13 Harjap Dhanoa. Final score of the game 3-1 Eagles, sending them to their next game in the playoffs.
