The Kodiaks faced off against the Old's College Broncos as they looked to bounce back after last weekend's tie against the MHC Rattlers to get back in the win column.

The Kodiaks and Broncos were off to an aggressive start, doing whatever was needed to gain possession of the ball and the game, despite both teams creating lots of offensive chances, neither the Broncos or Kodiaks have been able to capitalize on those chances to get on the scoreboard as they passed the halfway mark of the 1st half.

The Kodiaks jump ahead after a scramble in front of the Broncos net leading to the ball ending up in the back of the net as Kodiaks #20 Brandon Francis puts it home at the 13-minute mark to put the Kodiaks up 1-0.

After some more battling on all ends of the field, the Kodiaks were able to hang on to their lead at the end of the 1st half, staying up 1-0 and carrying the momentum headed into the 2nd half.

The Kodiaks struggled to create any scoring chances for the majority of the 2nd half up until a nice set leading to Kodiaks #6 Brian Sure rang a shot off the post landing right in front of Ethan Meerkerk to tap the ball into the Broncos net to grow their leading put them up by 2 to help keep the game out of reach for Olds.

The Broncos started to gain traction in the final half of the 2nd half which converted to a goal for the Broncos by #7 Garren Oosterhuis which was assisted by #8 Abu Bangura getting them on the scoreboard and back in the game as the final minutes whined down putting the pressure on both teams to make something happen. Not long after, the Broncos attempted to do just that, Broncos Goaltender #35 Joao Vitor Duz Batista was brought up to center field to take a free kick which was an absolute missile that found the back of the Kodiaks net to tie the game right back up at 2. Neither team was able to pull ahead afterward causing the game to end in a 2-2 tie and both teams heading home with a point each
