Men's Soccer October 12, 2024

 

On October 12, the King's University Eagles Men's soccer team took on Keyano College Huskies at The King's University soccer pitch at 4:00 pm. 

In the first half, both teams were on an even playing since they both used effective communication to have great offense and defense along with good passes and footwork. Many wonderful saves from both goalkeepers, Eagles 1 Kaleb Melnyk and Huskies 30 Jaiden McLaren. The atmosphere was tense since both teams fought a rigorous fight on both halves with effective footwork skills. Huskies 9 Joshua Fitzpatrick had a corner kick where 10 Hafid Arellano scored and minutes later 9 Joshua Fitzpatrick scored with an assist from 3 Kenneth Boateng.

In the second half, again both teams played with much intensity with fantastic communication, offense, defense, footwork, and passes. Great saves were made by both teams again from Eagles 1 Kaleb Melnyk and Huskies 30 Jaiden McLaren.  Huskies 10 Hakid Arellano scored a beautiful penalty goal. Huskies 5 Michael (Junior) Lungu scored with an assist from 13 Lynden McLaren. 

With high liveliness in the pitch's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
