EDMONTON, Alta. - The NAIT Ooks men's volleyball team defeated the Concordia Thunder 3-0 on Saturday night in their home opener, to sweep the weekend.

It was all Ooks in this one as they won three straight sets 25-19, 25-13, and 25-18 to take the match and begin the season 2-0. Newly named interim head coach Greg Gulash got back-to-back wins in his ACAC debut. 

"It was a difficult week logistically as I am still transitioning from my other role at NAIT. The guys have made it super easy on me, they have planned their own serve pass times and warm-ups. Everyone is buying in. The wins this weekend were definitely team wins," said Gulash.
