The Lakeland College Men's volleyball team hosted the Concordia Thunder on November the 22nd. With each team coming off a sweep the week before this was a highly anticipated battle.

In the first set the Rustlers would come out swinging. Taking an early lead from the Thunder. However, The thunder would fight back bringing the game within striking distance. The Rustlers would shut the door on the Thunder and win the first set 25-23

The Rustlers would jump out to an early advantage but the Thunder weren't going to shy away at the challenge at hand. The Thunder would fight there way back into the set eventually taking a dominant lead over the Rustlers and winning the set 25-17.

The fourth set it would be the Thunder rolling into the middle of the game. With some turns of momentum the Rustlers would take control of the set and finish the set 25-21 giving them the 2-1 set advantage.

The Rustlers would look for a boost off there bench to finish off the Thunder. Mason Short #15 would be the one to rise to the occasion tonight getting 5 kills in the set and helping them take the set and game win over the Concordia Thunder with the final score of 25-20.
