The Lakeland College Rustlers take on the King's University Eagles tonight at 8 pm at Lakeland College in Lloydminster, Alberta. The Rustlers and Eagles start the match in a very close set between both teams. However, the Rustlers led by Jarret Nelson were able to take home the first set. The Eagles took the momentum into the second set, with Tanner Piers leading the Eagles. They answered back to many of the Rustlers pushes and took home the second set 25-23. Both teams brought the energy to the fourth set. The Eagles got an early lead of 20-24. However, Cameron Jones and the Rustlers tried to hold back the Eagles. The Eagles took home the third set 23-25. Entering the fourth set, the Eagles took a strong lead in front of the Rustlers. However, Gabriel Bjorkas and the Rustlers attempted to make a comeback. The Eagles maintained their lead with great efforts from Jayden Hiebert making some big plays. The Eagles took the 4th set to end the match 3-1, 25-17. The players of the game were #8 Cameron Jones off the Lakeland Rustlers and #13 Jace Timmer of the King's University Eagles.
