Men's Volleyball TKU Eagles v. CUE Thunder

On October 25, the King's University Eagles Men's volleyball team took on Concordia University Thunder at The King's University gymnasium at 8:00 pm. 

In the first set, great communication and play from both teams. Eagles and Thunder played an intense set with Eagles 5 Dean Larsen getting strong kills and Thunder with fantastic blocks, servers, and Aces from 9 Alexi Dufour. Thunder won the set 25-16.

In the second set, again both teams had effective communication and plays. Eagles fought back with a fury with 5 Dean Larsen and 15 Robert Bugden gaining many tremendous kills, and aces from 3 Titus Acson and 13 Hudson Foesberg. Thunder made many great play decisions such as blocks from 8 Kurt Niehoff, 14 Logan Kranrod, and kills such as 9 Alexi Dufour's firery one.  Eagles won the set 25-18.

In the third set, the Eagles did a fantastic and effective job of communicating and using well played game tactics to fight Thunder in an intense set. Eagles 5 Dean Larsen did a phenomenal job of tipping the ball and getting kills, along with 15 Robert Bugden and 3 Titus Ascon. Thunder 1 Lawernce Flores made many great serves gaining an ace. Eagles won the set 25-10.

In the fourth and final set, both played with much ambition and effective skills making it a close-knit set. Eagles 7 Brodie Schutz, 3 Titus Acson, and 5 Dean Larsen made a tremendous kills and many great blocks from 11 Spencer Mayerle. Thunder fought back with great blocks from 4 Noah Michalczuk and 14 Logan Kranrod. Eagles won the set 25-19. 

With high liveliness in the gym's atmosphere, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
