CALGARY, AB (Feb. 28, 2018) – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce Bir Parmar of the SAIT Trojans has been named the ACAC Women's Basketball South Division Coach of the Year.
In his third season as head coach of the Trojans, Parmar led the team to a 17-4 record and a first-place finish in the ACAC South Division standings — their first since the 2011 season. This is the first Coach of the Year award for Parmar, and the first for a Trojans women's basketball coach since Donovan Martin was honoured in 2013.

"His love for the sport, and ability to get the absolute most out of his players, is something we feel will lead to even more success both this year, and in years to come."
