Rattlers stay undefeated beat Briercrest 73-60

On a Saturday night in Medicine Hat, the MHC Rattlers remained unbeaten using a strong fourth quarter to beat the visiting Briercrest Clippers 73-60.  The Rattlers opened the game strong and took a 22-14 lead after one quarter.  Briercrest fought back in the second and a 22-17 quarter saw them only down three 39-36 at the half.  The Clippers continued their strong play in the third quarter limiting the Rattlers to just 13 points.  Going in to the fourth, Briercrest held a four point lead 56-52.  The Rattlers were not to be denied on this night however.  They tightened up the defence and held Briercrest to just four points in the fourth quarter.  With 21 points of their own, the Rattlers pulled ahead and won 73-60.  With the win, the Rattlers moved to 3-0 on the season.  The loss dropped the Clippers to 0-3.  The player of the game for the visiting Clippers was #11 Adrianna Beck who had 22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals.  The player of the game for the Rattlers was #22 Katelyn Rozdeba who had 22 points and 11 rebounds.
