EDMONTON, ALTA. - Leah Vandenboogaard had 16 points as the NAIT Ooks women's basketball team swept the King's Eagles with a 60-47 comeback win.
The two teams came out strong in the first quarter keeping the game within 1 point, the Eagles would then outscored the Ooks 14-5 to give King's the 30-20 lead at half-time. In the second half, NAIT turned the game around outscoring the Eagles 40-17 to take the game 60-47
Leah Vandenboogaard led the Ooks with 16 points while Gaddiel Kamuanya Tshiunza had 18 points for the Eagles.
NAIT will now travel to Camrose next Friday to take on the Augustana Vikings.
