St. Mary's University defeats Lethbridge Kodiaks

Two rivals played in a head to head match to begin game number 11 in the ACAC Women's schedule. 1st quarter was even as both teams were tied at 21 points. Both star players Juhee Anderson (LC) had 9 points and Emily Wagner (StMU) contributed 9 points. 

Everything had changed in the 2nd quarter. St. Mary's had found their scoring and strong defensive play. Hannah Helton and Wagner poured in 10 points each in the 25 point team quarter. Quarter ended 46-29.

3rd quarter was evenly played where Lethbridge College had made some adjustments and held Helton to zero points. Chayle Clark (StMU) picked up the slack and scored 6 points off timely offensive rebounds. 

4th quarter, St. Mary's had effectively shut down Anderson (LC). Lethbridge had scoring from Mathinson, Murray and Peterson with 3 points each. St. Mary's continued to have success with Wagner (7 points) and Helton (4 points).

ACAC and St. Mary's University sponsored Player of the Game were Juhee Anderson (LC) and Hannah Helton (StMU)

Teams will play again tomorrow in Lethbridge to conclude the season 3 game series.
