EDMONTON, Alta. - The NAIT Ooks women's basketball team defeated the King's Eagles 65-59 on Saturday night in the NAIT Gymnasium.
The game was very evenly matched, as both teams exchanged buckets all night. Down the stretch, it ended up being the Ooks who were the better team as they didn't let the Eagles back to within less than four points through the course of the final quarter.
"We gritted out a tough defensive battle against an experienced and physical King's team. I'm proud of our teams' response," said Ooks head coach Todd Warnick.
