The Lightning continue their winning ways, as they won the Friday night match-up against their cross-town rivals, the Ambrose University Lions, with a score of 86-73. The Lightning led the first quarter with a score of 19-10, and continued on in the second quarter to extend their lead to 46-32 going into halftime, shooting 53% from the field, with Emily Wagner leading the way with 22 points at the half. The second half saw the Lightning continue to hold their lead, and finish the game with a 13 point win. The ACAC Players of the Game went to the Lions' Avery Deighton who had 21 points and 5 rebounds, and the Lightnings lone rookie Maya Sinclair, who had 6 points, 4 steals, and 2 rebounds. The Lightning improve to 11-5, while the Lions fall to 1-13.
