The Lakeland College Women's Basketball team hosted the GPRC Wolves Friday, January 31. The Lakeland College Rustlers look to keep building momentum into there playoff run.
The first quarter Lakeland would lay the foundation for the game with fast breaks and great defence outscoring the GPRC Wolves by a score of 25-13.
The Wolves would look to slow down the Rustlers offence. However, That would come at a cost the wolves managed to slow the Rustlers down a bit but at the expense of the own scoring. The Rustlers would Score 20 to the Wolves 9 and take a 45-22 lead going into the half.
The Rustlers would look to extend the lead going into the third quarter and the would do just that. The Rustlers offence lead by Jaden Cook would struggle to be stopped and would put up 23 points going into the 4th quarter the Rustlers would lead. 68-33.
The GPRC Wolves would look to close the gap and gain some momentum going into tomorrow's matchup. The Wolves would score there most points of the night in the 4th quarter but wasn't enough as the Rustlers edge the Wolves out 90-47
