Lightning with the Big Win

The Lightning cruised to vicotry on Thursday night over the Lethbridge College Kodiaks with a score of 89-63. A ten point game at halftime, with the Lightning leading 48-38, the Lightning continued their strong shooting in the second half to have control of the game until the final buzzer. The Lightning shot 47% on the game, and 42% from the three-point line to lead them to vicotry, while the Kodiaks shot 38% and 26% respectively. The ACAC Players of the Game were Emily Wagner who had 45 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 points for the Lightning, and Millay Johnson of the Kodiaks, who had 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Lightning now improve to 12-5 on the season, with a matchup against the Medicine Hat Rattlers coming up next Saturday.
