The Rustlers and the Vikings were ready for their second game of the weekend, this time the Vikings having the home court advantage.
The first quarter of the game saw the teams both working hard as they raced up and down the court. The score was 17-12 for the Vikings at the end of the quarter.
The second quarter was just as intense, both teams dropping threes, and making lay ups. The Rustlers had the higher score this quarter with 34-30.
The third quarter of the game was similar to that of the second. The Vikings and Rustlers were still very close in score, as the quarter ended with a score of 48-42 for the Rustlers.
The fourth and final quarter of the game was the most intense one of the entire game. This quarter saw both teams taking threes and making them. This made the crowd go wild. The final score of the game was 64 - 58 for the Rustlers.
Player of the game was awarded to the visiting Rustlers, #8, Taylor Pipes. For the hometown Augustana Vikings, was #6, Alyssa Banez.
