This was one of the Vikings closest games of the season. It was a truly great game to watch as they faced off against the visiting Keyano Huskies.
The first quarter of the game saw the teams both working hard as they raced up and down the court. The Huskies were taking lots of shots and making them. The score was 20-9 for the Huskies at the end of the quarter.
The second quarter was similar as the Huskies took their lead and kept it. The Huskies held the higher score this quarter with 31-21.
The third quarter of the game saw the Vikings gain momentum. The Vikings started to take more shots and they were falling. It started a back and forth between the Huskies and the Vikings. This quarter ended, all tied up, with a score of 43-43.
The fourth and final quarter of the game was the most intense one of the entire game. The back and forth between teams continued on, both teams truly putting their all into the game. The final score of the game was 59-58 for the Vikings.
Player of the game was awarded to the visiting Huskies, #23, Moiyan Toure. For the hometown Augustana Vikings, was #3, Megan Herbert.
