Rustlers Tie Season Series With a Win Over The Ooks

The Lakeland welcomed the NAIT Ooks on Friday, February the 21st. this game would be the second game of the week for these two games after playing the game one of the series last night.

The Rustlers would come out to a hot start against the Ooks putting pressure on early with Ellie Lieffers and Brianne Hergott scoring a majority of there points. The Rustlers would head into the 2nd quarter with a 17-11 lead.

The Ooks would look to come out hot and gain some momentum to head into the 2nd half. The Ooks would do more than gain some momentum as they would gain the lead and take the lead into the second half of the game. with a 30-28 lead, the Rustlers would need to spark something early in the half to keep in this game.

The Rustlers would come out and have some lockdown defence and give up only 7 points while scoring 15. The Rustlers would go into the final quarter with a 6 point lead.

The Rustlers would continue to add onto there lead and take the lead and close out the game with a 66-55 win over the NAIT Ooks.
