Vikings Fight Hard But Ultimately Come Up Short Against Top Ranked Broncos

It the second game of the day at the 2020 South Country CO-OP ACAC Women's Basketball Champsionship, the (N4) Augustana Vikings battled the entire game ultimately falling 71-55 to the Olds Broncos.  After falling behind 23-12 in the first quarter and 41-23 at the half, the Vikings started mounting a comeback in the third quarter.  Outscoring Olds 23-11, the Vikings pulled it to within 6 points after three.  The Broncos showed what a force that they are in the tournament by outscoring Augustana 19-9 in the final quarter to pull out a 71-55 victory.  With the win, the Broncos advance to a semi-final showdown tomorrow at 6pm against the (N2) Lakeland Rustlers.  The Elite Promotional Marketing Players of the Game were #12 Tobore Okome from the Vikings and #4 Alice-Fay Pitts from the Broncos.
