Wolves host Concordia Thunder in a double headed

GPRC Wolves welcomed the Concordia Thunder to their gym for their second home game of 2021, in front of a large crowd.

Concordia first on the board, #9 Kaelyn Bryks sinks a layup. #9 Sophie Leslie with Wolves drain a 3 to put the Wolves up 5:2, early. The 2 goes for Sophie Leslie and the Wolves go up 7:2. For Concordia #4 Olivia Armstrong drains a 3 late to go up 19:13. The Wolves would answer back and the quarter ends 23:16 for the Thunder.

The Thunder continue to execute the offense outscoring the Wolves. #9 Kaelyn Bryks for the Thunder finishes the half with 23 points. Thunder up by 21, 50:29. Wolves #8 and #9 both end the half with 8 points each.

The third quarter was all Concordia as the Wolves could not close the point gap.

The Wolves came on strong in the fourth quarter. #8 Jayden Demchuk hit 21 points when a time out was called. Wolves closed the gap to within 13 points. The Thunder went on another scoring streak, ending the game 83:68.

Player of the Game for the Concordia Thunder was #9 Kaelyn Bryks.

Player of the Game for the GPRC Wolves was #8 Jayden Demchuk.

Wolves are back in action tomorrow at 1pm against the Concordia Thunder.
