Queens have a strong fourth quarter, defeat Rattlers 63-55

At the family Leisure Centre in Medicine Hat tonight, the visiting Red Deer Queens used a strong fourth quarter to earn a 63-55 victory over the host Medicine Hat College Rattlers.  A back and forth first half saw the Queens head to the break with a 38-31 lead.  The Rattlers turned the tables in the third quarter and outscored the Queens 14-7 to tie the game up at 45.  The Queens came out determined in the forth outscoring the Rattlers 18-10 to earn the victory.  The Queens were led all night by player of the game Amy Szymanek who had a game high 26 points and also added 11 rebounds and 2 assists.  Katelyn Rozdeba was the Player of the game for the Rattlers with 15 points and a massive 22 rebounds.  The teams will play again Sunday afternoon in Red Deer.
