In the fall semester home finale, the Medicine Hat College Rattlers played host to the St. Mary's University Lightning at the Medicine Hat Family Leisure Centre. The game was a battle right from the start. The Rattlers started strong finsihing the first quarter with a 24-19 lead. The second quarter saw the Lightning fight back and theywent in to the haf with 43-39 lead. The game stayed tight in the third quarter with the Lightning outscoring the Rattlers 18-17 for a 61-56 lead heading to the fourth. The teams kept battling right to the final whistle and the Lightning finished on top winning 85-78. The player of the game for the Lightning was #10 Maitlynn Wilde while Kate Rozdeba was the player of the game for the Rattlers. The teams will meet again tomorrow in Calgary.
