Rustlers Take Home a Big Win to Open up the Second Semester.

The Lakeland Rustlers took on the King's University Eagles tonight at Lakeland College to ring in the new year. In the first semester, the Rustlers were undefeated and used that momentum to fuel their energy throughout tonight's match-up. The game started very close with points back and forth between the Rustlers and the Eagles. With most of the points from #14 Bilge Topaloglu and #11 Hailey Somers. It was a big game from #21 off the TKU Eagles as she started off the first quarter with 6 points to finish it off 24-15 for the Rustlers. The Rustlers came out to play in the second quarter to pull away before the end of the first half with points spread across the board. The TKU eagles put in a reasonable effort, but the Rustlers came out in full force to end the first half 48-21. The Rustlers came out to finish the game in the second half to take the lead and finish off the game 91-51 for the Rustlers. The players of the game were #14 from the Lakeland Rustlers and #21 Gadiel Kamuanya.
