Ooks Climb to Victory Over Eagles

The NAIT Ooks played against the King's University Eagles on Wednesday evening. The Ooks defeated the Eagles 64-54.

During the first quarter, the Eagles were able to gain a significant lead against the Ooks, ending the quarter 23-7. After a tough first quarter for the Ooks, they came ready to play in the second quarter. Their full-court press helped them to outscore the Eagles 22-8! The Eagles still ended the half with a lead of 31-29.

The third quarter was a solid defensive quarter for both teams. The Ooks continued to use their zone press to wear out the Eagles. The Eagles used a man press near the end of the quarter to put more pressure on the Ooks. The Ooks, by the end of the quarter, were able to gain the lead with a score of 48-41.

Both the Ooks and the Eagles played an intense fourth quarter as they played for the win. The Ooks held their lead from the third quarter to win the game 64-54.
