On February 19th, the Lightning hosted the Red Deer Queens. The Lightning started with a great lead, leaving the Queens on their trail. The Queens didn't lose their energy, they continued to keep up their strength. It wasn't enough to catch the Lightning, ending the first quarter with the Lightning in the lead with 14-6. The Lightning kept their fire going, scoring 26 points in the second quarter. The Lightning kept their lead at half with 40-18. Into the third quarter, great plays were made on both teams. The Lightning didn't let up, they ended the third quarter with 60-28. With one quarter left, the Queens kept up their game strength however, it wasn't enough to catch the Lightning . The Lightinng finished the game with a victory with 83-40. The players of the game were Queens #14 Heena Sidhu with 2 points and 5 rebounds and #20 Macyn Morning Bull with 9 points and 12 rebounds.
