The weekend's rematch of the 2022 Championship went much the same way that the gold medal game did, with the Rustlers running away with the game against the Ooks.
Lakeland weathered some pressure in the first few minutes to gain an early lead and lead by 21 at the half. From there, the home team kept a hold of their lead, with NAIT never getting the deficit close enough for a tighter contest.
Jasmine Gardiner, who scored 11 points, was the home team's player of the game, while Ellie Wilde got the nod for NAIT.
The Rustlers are off to Fort Mac to face the Keyano Huskies on Friday.
