WBB| Kodiaks Finish Weekend 2-0 With Victory Over NAIT Ooks.

The Kodiaks looked to continue their win streak as the NAIT Ooks make the journey down south in search of their first win of the season.

The Kodiaks took control early on in the game gaining themselves a comfortable lead up until the later end of the quarter when the Ooks were able to generate some offensive chances earning themselves some key points to get back in the game closing the gap between them and the Kodiaks. However, the Kodiaks were able to bounce right back to maintain their lead through the first 10 minutes of play holding a 16-10 lead.

The Kodiaks continued to be dominant on the court as they put up more than double the points of the Ooks in the quarter outscoring them 20-7 with Kodiaks #8 Tyler Leavitt potting 8 points to boost the Kodiaks to a comfortable 36-17 lead heading into halftime.

#10 Kitawna Sparks led the charge for the Kodiaks in the opening frame of the 2nd half picking up 9 points along with 3 defensive rebounds to keep NAIT at bay allowing the Kodiaks to hold onto their demanding lead over the Ooks headed into the 4th quarter leading 50-30.

The Kodiaks kept pushing forward in the 4th as they kept their momentum while the Ooks tried to fight back and try and get back in the game but were continuously shut down by the Kodiaks strong defense as the Kodiaks were able to walk away with another victory over the Ooks with a final score of 63-46.
