Lightning Fight to finish

Lightning came out firing in the first to an early lead at 26 – 13. The second quarter the Lightning held their lead against the Vikings and ended the half at 39 to 26. In the third the Vikings started to close the gap with the Lightning only leading by 10 at the end of the 3^rd.  The fourth quarter had the Lightning and Vikings fighting hard to win the game exchanging point for point. In a hard fought battle the Lightning came out with the win 76 – 71.  Lightning senior #10 Maitlynn Wilde walked away with 21 pts, 8 rebounds and 3 steals and #11 Andrea Stitt had 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The Lightning held on until the end and increase their record to 4 and 1. Vikings #10 Kamryn de Klerk led her team to become player of the game with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. While Lightning senior Maitlynn Wilde led her team to victory and player of the game.
