CALGARY, ALTA., (Dec. 3, 2022) - The SAIT Trojans women's basketball team ended the first half of their Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) season in the holiday spirit.
Down early, the Trojans fought back and defeated the visiting Lethbridge College Kodiaks 69-64 in Saturday afternoon action played at the Jack Simpson Gymnasium.
SAIT goes into the holiday break with a South Division-best 7-1 mark, while the Kodiaks fall to 7-4.
Down 51-49 after three quarters of play, SAIT rallied to outscore their guests 20-13 in the final 10 minutes of play to seal the victory.
Skyler MacDonald led the Trojans with 21 points, while Kitwana Sparks paced Lethbridge College with 18 points and 15 rebounds to be named Players of the Game for their respective teams.
