The Kings University Eagles hosted the St. Mary's University Lightning on Friday, Feb. 10.
The first quarter was tightly competitive as both teams fought to take control of the game early. The Lightning won at the end of the first quarter 14-10.
The Lightning extended their lead in the second quarter. The score going into halftime was 40-26 for the Lightning.
In the third quarter, the Lightning held onto their lead as they lead the game 57-44 going into the fourth quarter.
The fourth quarter Played out similarly to the previous quarter as St. Marys continued to control the game. The Lightning won the game 80-56.
