x - clinched playoff spot to Championship
y - play-in game required to qualify for Championship
h - championship host
Should a tie occur between two or more teams, division standings will be decided according to the following prioritized guidelines:
- Consideration of the game(s) played between the tied teams.
- Consideration of the points scored and the points allowed in games between the tied teams (i.e. ratio For/Against).
- Consideration of games played versus the highest placed team, not in the tie, followed by next highest placed team, etc.
- Consideration of points scored and allowed versus the highest placed team not in the tie, followed by the next highest team, etc.
Note: The tie breaking procedure for multiple ties shall be adjusted so that once the highest ranked team is removed from the tie the head to head records of the remaining teams be utilized to break all remaining ties.
Four (4) teams from each division will qualify for the Basketball Championship. Final league standing will be used to determine the ranking of the teams for the Championship and play-in game series. The play-in game series will determine the last remaining playoff spots (3rd & 4th).
Play-in Game
In each division, up to the 6th ranked team will be eligible for a play-in game to move on to the Basketball Championship. The top two (2) teams in both divisions will automatically advance to the Championship. The last remaining play-off spots (2 per division) will be played at the highest seed within each division between the next four highest ranked teams that have not secured a play-off berth. The play-in game will be played on the weekend before the Championship.
- #6 @ #3 - winner becomes 3rd divisional seed
- #5 @ #4 - winner becomes 4th divisional seed
Host Division
If the Championship host is within the top two (2) teams of a division, the above matchup will be followed. If the Championship host is 3rd or lower in the standings, the host will have a play-off spot reserved at the Championship. The last remaining play-off spot will be competed between the next 3 or 4 highest ranked teams within the division, depending on the standings of the host.
Host is 3rd to 6th
If the standings of the host is between 3rd to 6th, there is one final play-off spot remaining and will be competed between the next three highest ranked teams. The final rankings will be seeded based on the highest seed team's rank (i.e. lower seed acquires the higher seed rank if lower seed wins).
- Lowest ranked team vs 2nd lowest ranked team (Friday) - played @ highest ranked team of the three teams competing
- Winner vs highest ranked team (Saturday)
Host is 7th or 8th
If the standings of the host is between 7th to 8th, there is one final play-off spot remaining and will be competed between the next four highest ranked teams who do not have a play-off spot reserved. The winner of this four (4) team single elimination play-in series will be played at the divisional 3rd seed to proceed on to the Championship. The host of the play-in series will have the choice to play in whichever timeslot.
- #6 vs #3 (Friday) - played @ #3 (game 1)
- #5 vs #4 (Friday) - played @ #3 (game 2)
- Winner game 1 vs game 2 (Saturday) - played @ #3
